Granular Cell Tumor



35 year-old woman with abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Endoscopy revealed this 3.5 cm submucosal tumor in the gastric cardia. The lesion was 40% circumferential but not obstructing the GE junction. The lesion was friable and superficially ulcerated in several locations. Biopsies indicated the lesion to be a benign granular cell tumor.
