Congestive/Portal Gastropathy
Typical mottled, "alligator-skin"-like mucosal changes seen in the gastric fundus and body in the setting of portal hypertension. Although grossly resembling gastritis, biopsies typically demonstrate congestion without significant inflammation. A frequent source of bleeding.
